I'm Batman!

Well not really. But I did see like six of his bat-motorcycles. They're shooting the next batman movie in front of where I work, so when I left the building last night there was a forklift carrying a wrecked helicopter up the street. It was followed by a couple Gotham Police Department paddy wagons (the Gotham City license plates use the same colors and fonts as Illinois). On a blocked-off side street they were storing six copies of the bat-motorcyle (or "bat-pod" as the kids are calling it). If they're still here next week I might go be an extra, because that would look awesome on my resume.

Speaking of extras, if they have an extra bat pod, see if they'll give it to you. You'd be the coolest kid on your block.

That is pretty freakin awesome, Lee. I don´t suppose you have a good enough view from your office that you could take some pics for us? I was just reading an article about the director of the new Batman. It´s that guy who did Memento, right? That would look totally awesome on your resume. Maybe you could even get a recommendation from him.

What makes you think I'm not already the coolest kid on my block?

I checked out the set again last night, but I guess you have to go through a process to be an extra. I was hoping I could just run away from an explosion or something.

I don't have a camera, but there are loads of videos and pictures on the web. A couple weeks ago I saw the truck from this sweet video just parked on the street. I was wondering why there were bullet holes in the windshield until I saw the Gotham license plate.

I like how long the video goes after the flip. That person in the white cowl who hops out of one of the cars on the set and runs to the truck interests me. What is their role? Are they some kind of stunt scene superhero?
